Enjoy the Mediterranean landscape on this tour steeped in history and culture. Relax as you wander among the vines, taste the wines from the Alella Designation of Origin and discover the mark made on this pretty town by Catalonia's home-grown art nouveau, modernisme. A true cultural and gastronomic experience not far from Barcelona!.
ADVANTAGES:
The tour will continue with a cultural walking tour of Alella: a journey through the history and art of the town which will give you an insight into the origins of wine production in the area and the shapes and colours of modernisme. Architects of the calibre of Jeroni Martorell and Josep Puig i Cadafalch, the architect behind Barcelona's Casa de les Punxes and Casa Amatller, also designed buildings in Alella.
During the tour you'll stop off at the local market where you'll be able to discover some of the county's most famous produce, such as strawberries, grapes, peas and water melons.
We'll round off the day at a genuine Catalan tavern, dating back more than 27 years, with a nice glass of vermouth and a mouthwatering selection of tapas. An experience for the five senses to share with your husband, wife, partner, friends and family!
